1 tin or 600 g tender jackfruit or polos
Boil the jackfruit with turmeric, salt and 2 to 3 gamboge or gorokka till it is soft and then chop.

1/4 cup onion chopped
1 tbsp ginger
1tbsp garlic
1 tbsp curry leaves
2 green chillie
2 tbsp tomato
1 tbsp capcicum
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 to 3 vinegar or lime juice
1/4 tsp chillie flakes
1/4 tsp chillie powder
1/8 tsp turmeric
For the toast
1 tbsp garlic butter
cheddar cheese slices
4 slices bread
Heat oil add onion, garlic, ginger, curry leaves, capsicum, tomatoes and the chopped tender jackfruit. Add pepper, salt, turmeric, chillie flakes, chillie powder and lime juice.
Apply garlic butter on the bread and spread 2 tbsp polos on the bread, then cover the toast with a slice of cheese and melt the cheese in the oven. Serve hot to snack.
