1 cauliflower
salt water
batter
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
cold water to make a thick batter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp md chillie sauce or chillie sauce
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1" ginger optional
1 tsp pepper
oil to deep fry
sauce
3 tbsp oil
1 onion
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/3 cup md chillie sauce or chillie sauce
1/2 tsp chillie powder optional
3 tbsp soya sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
3/4 tsp brown sugar
1 bunch spring onion separate the white and green parts
1 tsp cornstarch mix with little cold water
salt
Cut cauliflower into florets and boil in salt water for 5 minutes drain and leave aside. Don't over cook the cauliflower it should retain the shape and be crunchy. Mix the cauliflower with the batter and deep fry.
Make the sauce heat oil, add onions, ginger garlic paste, white parts of the spring onion, sauces, spices and cook in medium heat add the cornstarch then the fried cauliflower toss with the sauce in low heat, adjust salt and add the green parts of the spring onion.
