Making Several Papadums Without Oil Using Papadum Express

We love eating papadum, but don't make it often enough because of the hassle of frying it. Recently, I got to know about the wonderful papadum stacking utility that we can place in the microwave and make several papadums in a minute. Using the Papadum Express allows us to make papadums fast in the microwave without the need for oil.
I like that the papadum stacking utility is made with strong plastic that is food safe, BPA free, non-toxic, phthalates and bisphenol A free. This durable, ergonomically designed and made in Australia Papadum Express can be put in the microwave, freezer and dishwasher.
I like that it was easy to set up the tray. I pushed the sticks it comes with into the tray to snuggly fit.
Then stacked multiple papadums and microwaved it for a minute.
I removed the papadum tray from the microwave, waited for 10 seconds and served the crispy, oil free papadums.
Factors such as a particular microwave, the microwave age, and the thickness of Papadums being used in a particular microwave, can impact recommended cooking times. Due to variation in microwave technologies, microwaves may get hot from repeated use. If your microwave becomes hot, allow it to cool prior to starting the next batch of cooking. On subsequent batches, shorten your cook times, due to the microwave running internally hotter already. Check out the detailed instruction on this site
You can purchase this healthier cooking alternative online, as they ship worldwide.

    1. Hi Steven I think it is an awesome product as it allows me to make a few papadums at one time without the need for frying it. Prior to using this product I used to make papadum in the microwave one at a time which took a few minutes to make a batch for the family. With this tray I make at least 8 in a minute Thank you for asking

  18. ok u don't need the tray to make papadam in microwave just put 2 or 3 in the glass an 20 sec for 1, 30 sec for 2 just increase time a little based on the brand of papaddam. Me and my friend has been doing this for years. why waste money on this plastic.

    1. Thank you for suggesting however I am not sure if glass would be safe. I have made papadums in the microwave before using this tray and found I can only make one or two papadums at a time. When I use this tray I can make a few at a time and the papadum stays crispy and gets cooked all sides.

  20. Thanks for the Papadum tip. I bought one, and I am here to report, all you said is wonderfully true. I am in New york, and ordered my tray after reading your papadum express tips and I am so happy I did listen to you, this was so cool to have. My parents too are very fond of Indian food. Being an Italian family, we like our food big and this makes it all the more grander to serve with my Indian/ Italian cooking twist risotto heheh.. another side observation was, this was truly the best plastic item I have ever held in my hands or for the microwave. A credit to great Australian manufacturing. What a difference it makes. Astounding!
