This is the time of the year, when lots of food poisoning happens because of simple things we forget to do especially when we marinate meat and barbecue. I shared these grilling tips last year, and sharing it again because it is so important that we all remember these to avoid getting food poisoned.
Step 1: When preparing food, wash hands and the surface often.
Step 2: Use separate plates for raw and cooked food when grilling.
Step 3: Cook foods to the right temperature using a food thermometer.
Step 4: Don't leave food at room temperature for longer than 2 hours. It is important to keep hot food hot and cold food cold.
Check out this video about how important it is to be careful during this season.
