My family has been using coconut products for decades, as many of our ethnic food contained some type of product that is extracted from the coconut tree. Although, North American medical professional used to criticize coconut products because of its saturated fat, recent research shows the saturated fat found in coconut oil and other saturated fats are different. It is now known that using coconut oil protect oneself from heart disease. Coconut products have lots of nutritional benefits such as fibre, protein, the ability to fight infections and beneficial use for skin and hair.
After this western discovery, the demand for coconut products continues to skyrocket across Canada. In recognition of consumer interest in coconut products, Grace Kennedy one of the Caribbean’s largest and most dynamic corporate entities is excited to announce their fall line-up of coconut products for 2014 that includes the following.

Grace 100 % Pure Coconut Water comes from the liquid of young, green coconuts with no water, sugar or preservatives added. Coconut Water is nature’s sports drink with less sugar, calories, sodium, and chemicals than commercial sports drinks. Although, it isn't anything close to the delicious King Coconut water right out of the tree, I still enjoy having coconut water as a beverage.
I like using the Grace Coconut Sugar occasionally because it is a rich, unrefined natural sweetener with a slight hint of butterscotch and caramel. It is made from 100% nutrient rich sap collected from tender coconut flower buds. It contains inulin, which gives coconut sugar a lower Glycemic Index than regular table sugar limiting glucose fluctuations often associated with other sugars. It is great for diabetics or those who want a low calorie sweetener.
Grace Coconut Milk
Grace Coconut Milk is a sweet, non-dairy milky white cooking base derived from the meat of mature coconuts. This rich milk is extracted by breaking down the white kernel of mature coconuts until the milk runs out. Popular with vegans and those with lactose intolerance, Grace Organic Coconut Milk makes delicious smoothies, rice, curry, desserts, soups and sauces. There are endless possibilities on using coconut milk.
Grace Coconut Chips has become a family favourite, and it has a familiar taste that we enjoy. It is made from the meat of mature coconuts using a traditional process to preserve their natural goodness. The coconut meat is gently sliced and roasted under low temperature until it turns into crispy chips, which can be enjoyed as snack or used as a garnish. The super food is high in lauric acid, low in sugar and contains zero cholesterol.
Grace Organic Coconut Vinegar created by the fermentation of 100% pure Coconut Water. It is 100% natural and does not contain any of the harmful substances that commercial vinegars may contain. This non alcoholic, gluten free and vegan vinegar can be used wherever other vinegars are used.
Grace Organic Coconut Flour is made from dried, ground coconut white meat from mature coconuts. Because of its airy texture, light coconut flavor and having twice the amount of fiber and protein, coconut flour is fast becoming a substitute for wheat flour. I am looking forward to incorporating the coconut flour into my baked goodies and flatbreads.
Grace Coconut Oil is available in All Natural (500ml) and Organic (1 L) and is cold pressed, which preserves the natural goodness of coconuts. These products are virgin oils therefore not refined, bleached or deodorized so the lauric acid that stimulates metabolism remains intact. They are great for use in cooking or applied on your hair and skin for nourishing results.

The coconut vinegar sounds interesting. I tried the sugar and I still haven't finished the jar. My favourite is still the bars of pressed coconut that have the oil on top.
