Sprouted Grain Wraps from Angelic Bakehouse

Sprouted Grain foods are quickly transforming from the health food offerings into mainstream consumer products. To keep up with this growing demand, Angelic Bakehouse is adding a premium, sprouted seven-grain wrap to its line of flatbreads. We love the versatility of these artisan wrap that has fewer calories, more fiber and protein. The sprouted grain wrap is made from pure, all natural non-GMO ingredients such as red wheat berries, oat grouts, rye berries, barley, millet, quinoa, and amaranth. The company uses the mash method to lessen the processing of the ingredients and preserve the taste and texture of the real fermented grains.
It has lower carbohydrates, fat and gluten, that increases the amount of vitamins and minerals that benefit our body and helps us to absorb more nutrients.

These wraps can be enjoyed during any meal and used for wraps, pizza, or to serve with curries. It stays frozen for six months, and 14 days ambient. My family and I enjoyed these wraps with hummus, and grilled vegetables.
I grilled some red onion, red and green peppers with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Then spread hummus on the wrap, and put the grilled vegetables, and rolled it tight before cutting and serving it.

I am glad that Angelic Bakehouse products are dairy free, egg free, nut free, soy free, sesame free, vegetarian, and free of High Fructose Corn Syrup. The new sprouted grain wrap is available at various locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan. It will become available in other states in the US Sprouts Farmers Market by mid 2015 and through select health and specialty food retailers. I really hope they will have this delicious flatbread available in Canada because everyone in my family loves it.
