Infused Mint Ginger Tea and Details on Trudeau Maison

I use a lot of Trudeau kitchenware and tabletop accessories and like the quality of their products because it is made to last! I like that Trudeau focuses on design, durability and value, as well as back up their products with lifetime warranty. This new, affordable collection has features and design elements that I appreciate because it considers everyday comfort and ease.

This pop spice shaker has an original pop-up lid that allows us to easily use it with one hand by simply pressing on the lid. To close it we just have to push it down. 

I like that we can put any spice mixture we wish, or pepper and salt in it. My family and I are planning on taking this pop spice shaker with us on our camping and road trips, so we can conveniently take some spice on the road to spruce up our barbecue meals. The glass bottle and silicone flip top keeps the spices fresh. I like that it is dishwasher safe. Each container is priced at $5.

I find this automatic dispenser container useful for oil or vinegar. It can be kept in the table side with our favourite vinegar or fill it with our favourite oil and use it when preparing meals. It is easy to tilt open the lid to pour out the oil or vinegar, and the integrated drip catcher does not leave a mess. The container can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.

The Citrus Juicer is perfect to squeeze lemons or limes. We can press, pour, and store in this mini calibrated juicer. The juicer has a pouring spout and integrated strainer to store the leftover. It comes apart easily so we can clean it by hand or in the dishwasher.

The double lever corkscrew reduces our effort to open a bottle with natural or synthetic corks because of its grooved spiral. It also has integrated bottle opener and serrated knife.

This cooling sleeve is an innovative product, and it is handy in summer when we want to cool our drinks within five minutes. There is a high-quality gel in the sleeve that helps to quickly cool the drink. I like that the sleeve is flexible and it has an adjustable closure to fit all standard bottles. It can be unfolded and stored. We kept ours in the freezer so we can use it when needed.

Tea-Riffic II Travel Tumbler has a double wall construction to help keep the tea hot for a long period of time, as it eliminates heat transfer and condensation. It holds 14oz of tea. I like that we can easily fill the infuser with large tea leaves, ginger, and any ingredient we want, secure the content with the leak-resistant lid, and remove the stainless steel tea infuser basket to easily clean. 

Here is our favourite tea recipe that we enjoy in this tumbler.

Fresh or dried ginger pieces

Fresh or dried mint leaves chopped
1/4 tsp black tea leaves

honey to taste
boiling hot water to fill the tumbler

Add all the ingredients except the honey in the tea infuser basket. Put the desired amount of honey into the tumbler, and fill the tumbler with boiling hot water. Let the tea steep for about 10 minutes. Keep the mouth of the tumbler open for the tea to cool. It will be hot, so take caution when drinking!
