The Kilner® Create and Make Range includes a variety of fun accessories that helps us to make homemade food and drinks, from salads and coffee to homemade butter. Kilner® was first established by John Kilner in the 1840's in England. It was towards the end of the 19th century when the original Kilner® Jar was first invented.

The Kilner® 1L glass jar and stainless steel pot is a healthy way to store and transport lunch and treats! These jars are ideal for storing salad, fruit, breakfast grains or dry snacks, as it helps to keep the ingredients fresh and crisp. The stainless steel cup can hold liquid or wet foods such as dips separately until we are ready to mix and enjoy. The stylish and practical design benefits from top quality materials making it the best way to store foods in the fridge and on the move. Original Preserve Jar includes a stainless steel Dipping Pot and a Preserve Lid. Similar to these 1L glass jars they also have 0.5L snack size jars.

We really enjoy using this Kilner® butter churner that lets us make fresh butter at home.

It is fun and exciting to simply place whipping cream into the butter churner, turn the handle, and in as little as ten minutes we can enjoy fresh and delicious tasting butter. It is fun to see the butter forming. There are several recipes included with the churner for us to create a wide range of flavoured butter.

We enjoy the homemade, soft fresh butter with many of our meals especially with freshly baked no-knead bread. I used the leftover milk from making the butter to make a flavourful spiced green bean dish.

The churner is hand wash only, and it is easy to wash in soapy water.

The perfect cup of coffee not only starts with the beans, but also the how we store it and grind it. The Kilner® coffee grinder helps make a flavourful cup of coffee.  The Kilner® coffee grinder is made from high quality stainless steel and features an adjustable grinder mechanism. This manual grinder comes with a Kilner® jar and airtight lid. The lid will keep the coffee dry and airtight, we can also store the jar in the fridge. The glass jar is perfect for sealing in the rich coffee taste and aromas.

We enjoyed making the suggested recipe for Cold Brew Coffee
Grind the beans to coarse grain and place the 1/2 cup ground coffee with 1 1/2 cups of cold water and stir well until fully mixed and close with the lid. Let the coffee stay in the water for 12 hours and up to 24 hours either in the fridge or out of the fridge. After the coffee brews using a fine sieve strain the coffee and discard teh grounds.
Fill half of the jar with the brew and add ice and fill up the jar with milk and sugar to taste.
