Versatile Copper Mugs and Dragon fruit Beverage

A small business based in Vancouver, Canada sells beautiful handcrafted copper mugs that we can use for cocktails, mocktails, and as decorative organizers. These copper mugs are made using traditional methods of hammering by hand to create the unique texture on the exterior. I like the rustic imperfections that add character to these mugs, making each of these copper mugs unique. The brass handles are welded, which leaves it intact on the inside, and keeps it water tight and leak free. We love that the rim is smooth, making it our go to mugs for chilled beverages. The outside of these mugs are 100% pure high-grade food safe copper, and the interior is lined with high-grade nickel, which makes it possible to enjoy all types of cool drinks. Having the nickel plating increases the strength and durability of the copper mugs and extends its life. The interior of these mugs being nickel is very important, as it avoids chemical reactions. Since copper is a heavy metal, it can easily react with acidic fluids found in cocktail ingredients causing chemical reactions.

These mugs are not for hot beverages because it can cause scalding, however you can serve slightly warm beverages like hot chocolate and apple cider. We can easily clean the mugs after use with warm water, soap, and a soft cloth. Do not use detergents or wash the mugs in the dishwasher. The surface will naturally patina over time, but if we want its original shine we can easily do this by sprinkling a pinch of salt on a slice of lemon and rubbing it until the salt dissolves, then rinse it with water and dry well.   

These mugs can hold 16 ounces, and has a height of 3.75" width of 4.75" and diameter of 3.25". These mugs are not only for beverages, it can be used as planter pots, perfect to plant kitchen herbs or use as a small vase for flowers and hold succulents. We can leave it in an office space by stylishly storing tools like pencils and pens. We can also serve delicious chilled desserts like tiramisu and puddings.  

We made a delicious cold beverage with dragon fruit.
Scoop and place the inside of the dragon fruit, mint leaves, basil leaves, sugar, juice of any citrus fruit you like we used sweet clementine, and ice water in a blender. Blend everything till it is smooth and serve cold.
