Toaster Cake

This cake is made within a few minutes in the toaster. It is a soft delicious cake to have at tea time. This recipe makes just over a dozen small cakes.

2 egg 

2/3 cups or100g brown sugar

2 tbsp milk

2 tbsp melted butter 

1/4 cup or 50ml hot water

2/3 cups or 100g flour  

1/3 cup or 50g rice flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

Whisk the wet ingredients together and add in the dry ingredients. The mixture should make a thick pourable batter. 

Brush the toaster with butter. Put 2 tbsp of batter in each section of the toaster. The cake is ready when a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. The cake will be golden brown. Serve it warm or at room temperature.
